ANALYSIS OF 2024 G.O.P NOMINATION CONTEST
* HALEY ran the inverse of PHILLIPS campaign over on the Democrat side--she ran to the left of TRUMP in the G.O.P Primary and used Democrat Talking Points to bash TRUMP. It didn't sit well with the Republican Primary base.
* 6 Major Setbacks for HALEY: 1) The Debacle of the week in Nevada: When she stayed on the Nevada Primary ballot, (which didn't even count for delegates) while the others boycotted it (since it was forced on them by the Democrat legislature from a couple of years before) she was embarrassed by losing it to Uncommitted by a landslide which in turn that week was followed by the Nevada Caucus which did count for delegates. She was banned from it as a punishment for not joining the boycott of the Democrat forced Primary and therefore also lost out on a chance to snag some delegates.....In other words she lost a Primary as the only candidate on the ballot still in the race--and lost it big.
2) South Carolina: She lost her home state of South Carolina by a landslide.
3) Koch Brothers Funding: As a result of the humiliating week in Nevada followed by her home state loss--she then lost the financial backing of the billionaire Koch Brothers.
4) Michigan: The first state that was reflective of the nation, Michigan, (which was even an open Primary where Democrats and Independent Liberals could cross over and vote for her) she lost by a landslide.
5) D.C. Primary: By her winning the D.C. (SWAMP) Primary, then gloating about it, she only reinforced the view she had the backing of the establishment (kiss of death in the TRUMP years of the G.O.P.). By winning the votes in D.C. (the SWAMP) of McConnell, Murkowski and Romney staffers, political consultants and lobbyists, it showed she was a SWAMP creature as TRUMP had been saying all along. She would have been better off losing it to TRUMP then saying "see, the SWAMP likes him".,,,or removing her name from the ballot.
6) Vermont: On Super Tuesday night, as she was getting CRUSHED from the East Coast to the West Coast (not even hitting 20% in a place like California that has more Moderate Republicans in the base) she was squeaking by Vermont's open Primary with cross-over Bernie Bros.
SUMMARY of HALEY's Campaign: By losing to a blow-out nationally, yet only winning 2 contests with the help of the SWAMP and Bernie Bros, and spending $114,000,000, mostly from wealthy Democrats (75% of her donations) and the likes of the Republican Koch Brothers (who are staunch Globalists) her Campaign could go no further.
....By EVERY OBJECTIVE MEASURABLE METRIC her campaign was a DISASTER, a TRAIN WRECK that didn't need to be.
LESSON of HALEY/PHILLIPS Failed Campaigns of 2024: You will never win the Republican Party nomination by running to theLeft of the Party base, bashing the Parties former President and bashing the Party you are trying to win the nomination of (like when HALEY claimed she is no longer beholden to her pledge to vote for the Parties nominee because it is "no longer the same Party" as when she took it.)
And you will never win the Democrat Party nomination by running to the Right of the Party base, bashing the Parties President and bashing the Party you are trying to win the nomination like when PHILLIPS attended TRUMP rallies and told his Party that they don't get it, but that TRUMP does.
